Stay And Play

We have two options for stay and play either on site or at Canons Court Mews, a development of self catering holiday cottages built in the Cotswolds. Completed to a very high standard with gorgeous views of the countryside that stretch out for miles. The cottages are situated on a quiet road  just 1 mile from Wotton-Under-Edge and only 4 miles from junction 14 of the M5 and just 20 minutes from Junction 18 of the M4 and The Players Club. With 4 cottages, 1 flat and a 7 bedroomed lodge, we have 19 bedrooms and we can cater for up to 28, including a huge family room with disabled access. We can organise a one night stay with golf or multiple days with access to many of the fine golf courses in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

Stay & Play packages can be tailored to suit your groups needs. Golf and accommodation can be inclusive . Catering arrangements can be organised at all of the courses if required. We can also arrange stay and play packages elsewhere for those that like the busier nightlife of the pubs, clubs, music and restaurants. We recommend Chipping Sodbury high street most nights. It has numerous pubs in the high street together with various eating choices, many of the pubs have music and a taxi is about £15 from The Players Club and £20 from Canons Court Mews. Mini-buses can be arranged.

The Players Club

On site rooms are also available at The Players Club. We have 15 rooms all with en-suite bathrooms, prices start from £75 for the smallest room, single or double occupancy is £90, twin occupancy is £110 and two of our rooms are family rooms so have three beds these rooms are £130 per night. The rooms are in two blocks both a few yards away from our putting greens, short game area and range. Each room has very good Wi-Fi and a TV. Coffee and Tea making facilities. Sky Sports and BT are included.

Room 2 has 2 Double beds.                        Room 3 has 1 Double bed.                          Room 4 has 1 Double and 1 Single bed.    Room 5 has 1 Double bed and 1 Single bed. Room 6 has 2 Double beds and 1 Single bed.

Room 7 has 1 King bed and 1 Double bed. Room 8 has 2 Double beds and 1 Single bed.

Room 9 has 1 Double bed and 1 Single bed. Room 10 has 1 Double bed. Rooms 11-15 all have 1 Double bed and 1 Single bed with access to the patio. Room 16 has 1 double bed.

All the rooms are on the ground floor and suitable for disabled access.

Rooms 1-8 are situated very close to the lift to the Open Bar and within 30 yards of the main function room. Car Parking is 100 yards away. Rooms 9-16 are next to the 1st tees of all three courses.

Each room has a key safe outside so you can gain access at any time subject to arrangement.

Breakfasts are available at £7.50 for a full English with a tea or coffee. Continental Breakfast available at £5.00.

We have some 1 night sleep over packages staying on site midweek from £109 each which is based on twin room sharing, one round on the Codrington, one on the Stranahan,  breakfast, range balls and you can even play the par 3 Watergarden course. If you are travelling back North we can arrange golf at Painswick or Cleeve Hill.
