In the event of a tie for the last spot the best/highest card posted will go through, ie a 45 and a 42 will beat a 44 and a 43. Back 9,6,3 etc after that. Second and third stages are decided on best last round score. If the second or third stages are cancelled they will not be rescheduled. ALL players will advance to the next stage. Up to 16 pairs could meet in the final. If a team withdraws the next pair will qualify for the next stage. The final will be played on February 4th with the Stableford points doubled. 75% Handicap allowance, yellow course slope. Max handicap allowed 24. If the course is changed during the competition then scores will stand and it will be treated in the same way you might get calm or windy conditions and just part of the ‘winter fun’. If a hole is shortened from a par 4 to par 3 then for the purpose of scoring you play the hole as a par 3 but still use the stroke index.
