This monster par 5 borders on par 6 territory. It really will only yield a 5 with three good shots. Shots are played to island fairways with the tee shot the least of the problem. The second shot must traverse a series of grassy pits in order to find the flatter ground from where an approach can be made towards this bunker-less sunken green.

A ridge at 615 yards from the back tee will catch many approaches but the ground  beyond gathers the ball quickly and hides all but the top of the flag. A marker suitably placed at 440 yards out from the green is a gentle reminder that you still have quarter of a mile to go.
