The first par 3 at The Players Club is a downhill pretty short hole with the green bordered by woods on the right and a large lake to the left.

Three ‘pot’ bunkers; Ray, Sarazen and Hagen cross the front of the green. From a full drive off the pro’s tees, the hole scales down to just 150 yards from the tee of the day. The target leaves little room for error; a shot either left or right of the green will find woods or water. Set amongst the ancient woodland of ‘The Grove’ and a lake, the green has a picturesque setting and offers a chance to catch up on the wildlife.
